StatusHub provides a number of ways to embed status data in your own app or website using the StatusHub widget. The goal is to display your status in as many relevant locations as possible so that end-users will see the information.
There are two types of widgets available within StatusHub:
The first is a longer text-based StatusHub Widget. Your customers can see current and past incidents and upcoming maintenance events.
This can be configured as follows:
- daysBefore - list events that occurred past specified days
- daysAfter - list events that will occur in specified days
- limit - the maximum amount of events in a widget
Example of widget:
Minimal widget is a very simple widget that shows only one status dot and status text but it's not embedded in an iframe so let's you control its visual style and blend it into your website, even in navigation.
Example of minimal widget:
To use this feature, from the StatusHub main dashboard, click on “Edit status site” (Pencil Icon). Then, select the “External Applications” tab from the left menu.
To enable the widget click on the "Disabled" switcher.
When it is switched to “Enabled” StatusHub widget code will appear.
Copy the snippet code and insert it into your website or application.
