OneLogin, as a SAML 2.0 IdP service can be connected to the StatusHub Control Panel.
Please note: a separate connection can be made to make your hub web page private - access help doc here.
In StatusHub Control Panel
To configure, follow these steps in your StatusHub control panel.
From StatusHub main dashboard, click on “Settings” at the top right of the page. Then, select the tab “SAML 2.0” from the left menu. There are 2 important areas there:
SP Issuer value - Save this link as this will be inserted during the OneLogin configuration later.
Single LogOut - Enable SLO and also save SLO URL as it will be needed during OneLogin configuration.
In OneLogin
- Log in to your OneLogin organization as a user with administrative privileges.
- Click on the “Administration” button at the top right of the page.
- Click on the “Apps” tab on the top bar menu and then select “Add Apps”.
- Right below the title Find Applications, type in “SAML test” and search for it.
- Find “SAML Test Connector (IdP w/attr)” app and add it.
Please customize the Display Name, icon and description according to your needs.
- Click on “Save”, select the tab “Configuration”. Then fill in the fields with the content saved before, as follows:

Important Note: Leave “RelayState” field empty and for “ACS (Consumer) URL Validator” please use “SP Issuer” value but converted to Regular expression form.
For example:

Becomes:
^https:\/\/app.statushub.io\/accounts\/91189a2d-aa85-4c07-0000-0000111179fd\/saml\/authenticate$
- Click on the “Save” button and then click on “More Actions” at the top right of the page and from the drop-down menu select the “SAML Metadata” option to download it.
- Save the SAML Metadata downloaded content to input in as part of the next step in StatusHub.
In StatusHub Control Panel
Go back to StatusHub Control Panel. From StatusHub main dashboard, click on “Settings” and then from the left menu select the tab “Restricted Access”. Then, do the following:
- Paste the SAML Metadata content in the “SAML 2.0 IdP metadata in XML format” box, enable SAML button and save the changes with the blue “Update” button at the bottom of the page.
