Platform Alerts are a way to notify subscribers about unusual/major situations when multiple services have a serious problem and to reflect the severe platform status. An Added benefit of these alerts is to ensure that a message is sent to customers quickly instead of setting multiple incidents on multiple services. These Alerts have also been configured to notify even subscribers that have only subscribed to a subset of services which would usually miss notification's if those were set for other services.
Description
This feature adds a new button to the dashboard. When Platform Alert is disabled, the icon is blue. Otherwise, it's red to notify about this state visually.
Alerts have title and message. These two can be set without triggering the alert. Alert is set only when it's changed as enabled or disabled
Alert is sent to every subscriber, no matter the services selector.
By default, platform alerts not only trigger notification but also shows banner on the top of your StatusHub
However, this behaviour can be disabled in Hub appearance settings section
